There are three main types of betting odds. They all show the same outcome in different formats, with no effect on your actual profit. You can switch to whichever format you prefer.
- Fractional (British) odds
- Decimal (European) odds
- American (Moneyline) odds

Decimal Odds (European)
- Shown as a number.
- Displays the total return (profit + stake).
- To calculate: multiply your stake by the odds.
Example: Odds of 3.00 with a £10 stake = £30 return (including your £10 stake).
Fractional Odds (British)
- Shown as a fraction.
- The number on the left = profit.
- The number on the right = stake.
Example: Odds of 2/1 mean £2 profit for every £1 staked.
A £10 bet at 2/1 = £30 return (including your £10 stake).
American Odds (Moneyline)
- Shown as a positive (+) or negative (–) number.
- Uses £100 as the baseline.
- Negative odds (–) = favourite → how much you must bet to win £100.
- Positive odds (+) = underdog → how much you win from a £100 bet.
Example:
- –260 = bet £260 to win £100.
- +260 = bet £100 to win £260.
